At Immersive Discoveries our mission is to unlock learning through powerful, accessible and engaging digital experiences. We bring places, stories and ideas to life by blending 360° photography, interactive design and AI to create immersive resources — and practical training that helps teams use these tools with confidence.
Grounded in both educational expertise and senior corporate experience, we work with schools, charities, cultural organisations and training providers to transform how people learn, explore and connect — whether through curriculum-aligned virtual field trips, AI workshops for leadership teams, or co-created immersive spaces. Our mission is simple: to make meaningful, imaginative and genuinely useful learning possible for everyone, everywhere.
Immersive Discoveries is led by Gemma Zeeman, a digital innovator who brings together senior corporate experience, educational expertise and a genuine passion for making learning meaningful.
Gemma spent 15 years at Confused.com managing large-scale digital programmes, cross-functional teams and multi-million-pound budgets. That corporate foundation means she understands how organisations actually work: the competing priorities, the time pressures, and what it takes to deliver something people will genuinely use.
She retrained as a primary teacher and holds Qualified Teacher Status following a PGCE with The Open University. Her classroom experience spans Reception to Year 6, and through the Wales Curriculum Learning Design project she has worked alongside teacher educators at every initial teacher education institution in Wales — developing national digital resources, creating immersive environments for OU PGCE students, and delivering training on immersive technology and AI to teachers across Wales.
As a certified ThingLink Trainer and drone operator, Gemma designs and builds immersive 360° environments, interactive digital resources and aerial heritage content for schools, heritage organisations and cultural bodies.
She also delivers practical, jargon-free AI workshops for educators and organisational teams — sessions that leave people with tools they can use the same day.
