Policy of Immersive Discoveries (Sole Trader – Wales, UK)
Effective Date: 01 March 2026
Immersive Discoveries is a sole trader business operating in Wales, United Kingdom, providing immersive digital educational resources and consultancy services. This statement sets out the business’s commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within its operations and supply chain.
Immersive Discoveries has an annual turnover well below the £36 million threshold set out under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and is therefore not legally required to publish a Modern Slavery Statement. However, the business voluntarily adopts proportionate measures in line with the spirit and principles of the Act, and in alignment with the Welsh Government Code of Practice for Ethical Employment in Supply Chains.
Immersive Discoveries operates as a micro-enterprise and engages a small number of UK-based freelance professionals and specialist consultants. The business does not operate overseas manufacturing, large-scale labour supply chains, or high-risk procurement activities.
Immersive Discoveries is committed to ensuring that modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, debt bondage or exploitation do not occur within its operations or supply chain. The business commits to: • Engaging subcontractors on transparent contractual terms; • Paying agreed professional rates in line with industry standards; • Ensuring all subcontractors comply with UK employment, equality and safeguarding legislation; • Including ethical compliance clauses within subcontractor agreements; • Taking appropriate action should any concerns arise.
Given the nature and scale of the business, the risk of modern slavery is considered low. Nevertheless, Immersive Discoveries maintains oversight of its supply chain and will not knowingly engage with any individual or organisation involved in exploitative practices.
This statement will be reviewed annually or sooner if legislative or procurement requirements change.
